National Children's Book Week is a good time to introduce, or reinforce children's knowledge of, the books which are special to different religions.
It may be useful to prepare flash cards with the names of some of these books: BIBLE, GURU GRANTH SAHIB, PALI CANON, RAMAYANA, QUR'AN, TORAH.
Perhaps tell the children the story of how the Qur'an was revealed. Or explain that the Torah is a collection of scriptures known as the books of Moses and tell them about how Moses was hidden amongst rushes as a child to save his life and how he was found and brought up by Potiphar's daughter.
