1. Is it ever right to go on 'hunger-strike'? How should we treat people who do?

2. Is it better to have a voluntary approach to food rationing or to have a scheme imposed by the government?

3. Some people go hungry because of sanctions imposed by other countries. Is it ever right to deliberately prevent the food that they need reaching people?

4. During wartime it is sometimes necessary to ration other things besides food. Can you think of things that might have to be rationed and can you explain why rationing would be necessary?

5. How important is it for governments to ensure that people have enough food? What things can they do to try to make sure no one goes hungry? What foodstuffs should they be most concerned about?
