The Hibbert Assembly FOR THOSE IN PERIL IN THE SEA Storm Force and RNLI resources for schools.
Storm Force is the RNLI club for young people under 16. Individual membership costs £5 a year. Members are sent a membership pack and also get the club magazine, Storm Force News, four times a year. Group membership, for ten or more young people, costs £1 each. Groups receive 2 copies of Storm Force News per ten members. Membership forms are available from Storm Force HQ, RNLI, West Quay Road, Poole, Dorset.
RNLI produces a range of resource packs and videos for use in schools, including:
LIFEBOATS, a cross-curricular pack for 5-7 years olds £5 LIFEBOATS, a six-minute video for young children £6 LAUNCH, a cross-curricular pack for 7-11 year olds £5 LAUNCH, a twenty-minute video designed for 7-11 year olds £6 SAVED BY A MOTOR LIFEBOAT, the ten-minute video of a film shot in 1924 featuring the Whitby lifeboat. £8
